• Know if someone opened your linkThe most straight-forward use. If you sent a reviewer a link to your product you'll be notified when he opens it.
• Was my email readYou can know if your email was read very easily and for free with this tool. Most spammers know if you read their email by placing images in emails and tracking when the images are viewed. You can now do this too, and with no need for your own webserver or an expensive marketing service. Just generate a link that redirects to an image (maybe a 1x1px image) and add an image to your email with our link as the source. You'll get an email notification with the reader's ip address when it is downloaded.

After providing a URL and your email, you will receive a shortened wasitviewed.com url that, when visited, redirects to the original link and sends an email notification. This has plenty of uses. The purpose of the site is to provide the public with a free powerful tool that provides a streamlined process with no hassle (free and no registration required). We extend beyond services like goo.gl and bit.ly by providing a specific purpose, tracking (in addition to shortening). We send you an email notification which includes very specific information about the people who viewed your link.

• Was my email read?If you place a trackable url in your email (preferably in a hyperlink or image), you'll be notified when the link is requested. This way you can tell if your email was read.
• How will I be notified?You'll be automatically notified when the link is clicked by an email from us. This email will also include the notes you chose when generating the link, as well as information about the viewer.
